These are not my pictures, but here are some recent photos of a leatherback taken by one of the biologists. The leatherback finished nesting and made her way back to the ocean.
Hi Matteo! Birds are the first predators that the little hatchlings encounter when they first emerge from the nests. If they make it to the ocean, sharks and other such natural predators prey on the hatchlings. Once they make it to their full-grown size, however, I don't believe that leatherbacks have any natural predators in the ocean due to their enormous size.
